About the artist

Vincenzo Brizzi

His adventure with art and painting started when he was in high school. The art teacher tried to convince him to study art. But Vincenzo didn't have will to study another five years, and chose 2-year gastronomy college. From 1975 to 1978 he worked in luxury Schloss Hotel in Kronberg Taunus (Germany). Working as a room service, having "pass par tout" that allowed him enter each room in the hotel, gave him a possibility to observe paintings of known artists as Monet or Titian and these not famous but perfect. To train he started to copy those pictures. First works he gave as a presents to his friends. Finally he improved his technique of creation and still discovers new ways of painting. In the year 2000 he sold 18 paintings during the vernisage organised in his brother's restaurant in Frankfurt (Germany). He sold another few paintings after the vernisage. Now he's painting in his free time, doing experiments with different styles and colours, inventing his own way of artistic creation.
